Privacy Policy

Byeoltieum (the “Company”) values the personal information of users of the Jaksim Pyeongsaeng app (the “Service”) and complies with applicable laws, including the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea. This policy explains what information the Service processes and why.
1. Information we collect

2. How we use information
- Providing the Service: routine management, completion records, growth and rewards (coupons, items)
- Sending routine start reminders
- (If connected) creating, updating and deleting recurring events in the guardian’s Google Calendar for routines the guardian created
- Responding to inquiries and improving the Service
3. How we handle Google user data
- The Service requests Google Calendar event access only when a guardian chooses to connect Google Calendar on the Connections page.
- With this access, the Service only creates, updates and deletes events it created itself. It does not read or modify any other events or calendars.
- Credentials received from Google are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in the Service’s database with access restricted to the guardian who connected them.
- Google user data is not used for advertising, sold, shared with third parties, or used to train AI models.
- Guardians can disconnect at any time via “Connections → Disconnect”, which immediately deletes the stored credentials. Access can also be revoked from the Google Account “Third-party apps & services” page (https://myaccount.google.com/connections).
Jaksim Pyeongsaeng’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Children’s information (under 14)
- Child accounts are created and connected under the management of a guardian (legal representative).
- Guardians may request access to, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of their child’s information.
- Children’s information is processed only to the minimum extent needed for routines and rewards, and is never used for advertising.
5. Retention and deletion
- Personal information is deleted without delay when an account is closed, except where retention is required by law, and then only for the required period.
- Stored Google credentials are deleted immediately when Google Calendar is disconnected.

7. Your rights
- You may request access to, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of your personal information at any time.
- You can close your account in the app’s account settings, or send a request through Byeoltieum’s contact page.
